The City of Milton Comprehensive Planning Advisory Committee (CPAC) and the Community Development Department are hosting a Community Planning Charrette as part of the City’s 2008-2028 Comprehensive Plan. Each Charrette is the forum at which the community has an active hand in determining the future of the City. There will be two identical sessions on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Session 1 is from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and Session 2 is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The location of this event is Milton City Hall, City Council Chambers, 13000 Deerfield Parkway, Milton, GA 30004.

 

 

Fulton County residents can take advantage of outdoor water use three days a week on an odd and even-numbered schedule. In accordance with an order from Georgia’s Environmental Protection Division, outdoor water use is now on a “non-drought” schedule.  Citizens may water three days a week with odd-numbered addresses allowed to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and even-numbered addresses permitted to water on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Due to recent wind and hailstorms, many roofs in Avensong have sustained significant damage.  Homeowners have inquired about the color and style roof they are permitted to have.  Please be advised that in order to maintain a harmonious appearance and continuity within the community, you may only replace the existing roof with a roof of similar color, design, style, and type as the roof originally installed by the developer.  Limited exceptions may apply.  In all cases, you must obtain prior approval from the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) before installing the new roof.
