2016 Pool Season
Posted on Apr 7th, 2016
The Avensong pool will close for the season on September 18.  From July 25 to September 5, an attendant will be on duty Saturday and Sunday from 1-9 pm as well as on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day).

You will need to be a resident in good standing for your keycard to allow access into the pool.  Everyone will be required to sign into a log book.  All posted rules will be strictly adhered to as well as the limit of the number of guests per member.

We look forward to a safe pool season.

Avensong Community Garage Sale
Saturday, September 24th to Sunday, September 25th, Saturday, September 24th 7am – 3pm
AVENSONG COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE DAY!
Saturday, September 24th from 7 am – 3 pm

Get your closets, cupboards and garages cleaned out of all those items you have been wanting to get rid of, and get ready for the neighborhood garage sale!

I will be advertising the sale, and will include a list of particular items of interest that will be offered for sale throughout the neighborhood. SO, please email Stephanie Brewer (stephanie@brewerhometeam.com) with your address and your list of goodies you plan to sell (example of list: dresser, bunk beds, baby clothes, stroller, lawn mower, household items, washer/dryer, boat, etc)!

There will be maps of the neighborhood showing all the homes participating in the sale, which will be placed at the entrances to the neighborhood.

A pickup has been scheduled with the AKS charity, for anyone wanting to donate items after the sale. I will need to know your name, address and phone number (AKS requires it) if you would like me to add you to the list for pick-up after the sale.  Please let me know asap, so I can make arrangements.  If you aren’t having a Garage sale, but want to donate anything, you may send me your info and I will add you to the pick-up list too.  (If you aren’t on the list ahead of time, the truck will not stop.)

AKS will only take bagged and boxed items, and small furnishings that one person can carry.  No large furniture or appliances, sorry.  If you have some of those to sell and don’t want to get stuck with them after the sale, I suggest to make them cheap! J

Here is the list from the AKS www.akspickup.org :
§  Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing
