This page contains the Declaration of Protective Covenants for Avensong and the Design Standards for each section of the neighborhood.  The Bylaws of the Avensong Community Association, Inc., the Village at Avensong, and Avencroft at Avensong are also included.

All residents must abide by the Declaration of Protective Covenants for Avensong, the Bylaws of ACA, Inc., and any Rules, Regulations, Procedures, and Design Standards adopted by the ACA, Inc. board.  The Protective Covenants for Avensong and the Design Standards for each section of the neighborhood can be found on the "Our Covenants, Bylaws, and Design Standards" webpage.

During 2007, the ACA, Inc. BOD will work with our management company to take consistent and diligent steps to ensure that the neighborhood remains a desirable place to live.  To that end, the ACA, Inc. board is currently developing a new enforcement policy with our new management company, Community One Associates.  Warning letters will be sent for any violations noted, especially those that could adverely affect property values and neighborhood morale.  With this in mind, it is highly recommended that homeowners inspect their properties to assure the following:

• Window and garage doors frames should be free of rotten wood and faded or chipped paint;
• Surfaces of home, driveways, and walkways should be free of mildew, mold, and other unsightly stains;
• Yards should be maintained (mowed to an acceptable height and kept free of weeds) and bushes and other landscaping should be neatly trimmed;
• Inoperable cars or cars with expired tags should be removed from driveways and streets; and
• Trash cans, yard and play equipment, and other unsightly debris should be out of sight from the street.

Please take immediate corrective actions to abate any of these issues.  Fines will be assessed to any homeowner who fails to take corrective action in a timely manner.  Continual failure to abate violative issues could result in liens being placed on properties, execution of "self-help" by the association in accordance with the Declaration of Protective Covenants for Avensong, or further legal action.
