The City of Milton has informed the HOA that patching and resurfacing in the Avensong Subdivision will begin on Monday, August 4 with a target completion date/time of Wednesday evening if everything goes smoothly and Mother Nature cooperates.
The city is asking that residents not park on the following streets (residents should not be parking on the streets anyway per our Design Standards and Policies):
ÂYou will be able to come and go as you please. The only delay you may experience is waiting for the roller to get compaction to allow a vehicle to cross over the new asphalt. The contractor doing this year's resurfacing has done plenty of projects for the city and others over the years, and the crews will act courteous to the residents. They may, however, be loud and animated with motorists at times because they are trying to make sure the driver understands what to do.
Also, the city has provided a start date of August 18 for resurfacing on Deerfield Pkwy. There will always be a north and south bound lane open to traffic, but residents should expect some delays during construction.
If you have any complaints or concerns, please send those to firstname.lastname@example.org. The board will pass these along to the city.
